The Taystful kitchen is at 1A High Street Blairgowrie, PH10 6ET.
Look out for the sign for Mitchell’s Newsagents (see below) on the High Street (in between Vitality Salon and Blairgowrie Physio, all near to the prominent white building of the Royal Hotel). Come in through the front door of Mitchell’s Newsagents and right to the back of the shop. You will see a white door. Come through that and you’ll see the Taystful Kitchen straight ahead.
Unmetered parking can be found on George Street, which runs above and parallel to the High Street. Parking on the High Street is time restricted.
If approaching on the A93 coming north from Perth direction, continue on this road right in to town, and you'll get to 1A High Street (on the left) as you approach the Royal Hotel.
If coming in on the A923 coming north from Coupar Angus, continue in to town past JJ Coupar Rugby Club, Coupar Angus Road Co-Operative Store (keep straight on at tiny roundabout), keep straight on at traffic lights, then at next small roundabout, take first exit on left, follow Reform Street to the top, and turn right on to High Street. Follow High Street and 1A is on left as you approach Royal Hotel.
If coming in a southerly direction on A923 or A926, come through Rattray, over the Ericht Bridge, keep straight ahead up a slight hill past bus stances and Wellmeadow, and you'll come to a small roundabout. Take 2nd exit right on to Reform Street, follow Reform Street to the top, turn right on to High Street, and follow along till you see the Royal Hotel,1A is on your left just before it.
PLEASE NOTE: if floods are mentioned in the area news reports, the worst affected areas are usually A923 from Coupar Angus to Blairgowrie at the River Isla, and also passing the Kinclaven area after Ballathie House Hotel (again River Isla). These can sometimes be closed to traffic in extreme conditions.
To avoid A923 between Coupar Angus and Blairgowrie, from Coupar Angus, follow A94 to Burrelton and Woodside, and turn right either to Wolfhill or Guildtown which takes you to A93 to Blairgowrie.
To avoid Kinclaven, leave Perth coming north on A93, not by coming via A9 and B9099 (past Luncarty and Stanley).
Occasionally the A926 from Alyth is affected by flooding too.
